We are deeply saddened by the North Allegheny School Board of Directors’ recent decision to eliminate six of the twelve library secretary positions. This decision was made disregarding vast public opinion, including those of teachers, students, and administrators. We acknowledge the importance of the library secretary position and the extraordinary role they play in shaping educational experiences for students. We extend our full support to the many impacted by this detrimental decision.
