We are beyond excited and honored to announce that NA For Change is receiving the inaugural “Emerging Leadership” Award at the 27th Annual Ronald H. Brown Leadership Awards this February 3rd.
The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh is the largest comprehensive social service and civil rights organization in Southwestern Pennsylvania. They have continued to do profound work within the African-American community, promoting economic, social, and political empowerment within Southwestern Pennsylvania.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh for this special recognition and especially would like to thank all of the students, alumni, teachers, administrators, and community members who have fought within our coalition over the last two years to positively transform our district and bring forth a reality where everyone is seen, included, and empowered to use their voices towards making an impactful change for students in years to come.
What an honor it is to be receiving such an award, especially among such impressive fellow honorees. We are so enthusiastic about the future of our coalition. We cannot adequately express our gratitude to the NA For Change community and the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh for such an eminent opportunity and distinguished award.
