NA For Change Announces First-Ever Pittsburgh Youth Changemakers Conference In Partnership With the University of Pittsburgh, the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh

CALLING ALL CHANGEMAKERS!

Unleash the potential of young leaders at the 2023 Pittsburgh Youth Changemakers Conference, where inspiration meets action. North Allegheny (NA) for Change, in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh and the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh, is excited to announce the first-ever Pittsburgh Youth Changemakers Conference on June 29-30, 2023. Join us for a two-day transformative experience filled with dynamic workshops, inspiring speakers, and a network of like-minded visionaries ready to make a difference in Pittsburgh. We are also honored to welcome Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey for a keynote address.

The Pittsburgh Youth Changemakers Conference will also feature the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh’s State of Black Pittsburgh: Building Peace and Prosperity in our Neighborhoods event on Thursday, June 29th from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM at the University of Pittsburgh’s Alumni Hall. This highly-anticipated annual event, in partnership with 1Hood Media, will take a hard look at gun violence and the cycle of poverty and will highlight individuals and organizations that are making a positive impact to combat these issues. This event is open to all in the community who register.

This conference is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for Pittsburgh-area upperclassmen high school youth to network and cultivate their leadership skills. Due to the generosity of our partners, this conference is both free and meal-inclusive. There will also be opportunities for free transportation on an application basis. Registrations close on June 9. Space is limited, so sign up today!
